Meet the team behind this journey
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Marketing Manager to oversee the development, execution, and delivery of content tailored specifically for the Japanese market across all our channels, including the organic social media strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation, a deep understanding of social media platforms, and the ability to drive engagement and brand awareness through compelling and cohesive content strategies that resonate with the local audience.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with overall business objectives and brand voice.
- Develop a messaging framework tailored to different audience types and stages of the customer journey to ensure consistent and effective communication.
- Plan, create, and oversee the production of locally relevant and highly engaging content, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, eBooks, analyst reports, case studies, infographics, videos, and more.
- Develop and curate thought leadership content tailored to local market trends and audience interests, positioning the company as a trusted authority in the region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content meets the needs of various stakeholders.
- Adapt and localize global content to resonate with local audiences, ensuring cultural nuances and linguistic accuracy.
- Measure and analyze performance metrics to deliver insights that optimize content and enhance audience engagement.
- Develop and execute an organic social media strategy to enhance brand presence and engagement across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X).
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and apply that knowledge to increase the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Implement and manage SEO best practices to ensure content is optimized for search engines.
- Oversee budget management and coordinate with vendors and agencies to ensure efficient resource allocation and successful project execution.
Qualities we look for
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, social media management, or a similar role, preferably in high-growth SaaS business .
- Proven experience and knowledge of creating high-quality content across multiple formats and channels.
- Excellent writing, editing, story-telling, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing organic social media strategies to drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Data-driven mindset with extensive experience in analytics tools (web, SEO, social media, etc.) and a proven ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Native level Japanese and business English. Proficiency in Korean is a plus.
- Understanding of the Japanese business cultural nuances.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
